Divine announcement:
“ Shaytan is indeed your enemy..” Sura al Fatir 35:6
Human beings, Angels and Jin are among the creations of Allah SWT. Human being is created from clay. The Jin are created from smokeless fire whereas angels from light/brilliance.
If Jin exist, then why man is unable to see Shaytan?
The vision of human eye is limited. So too is the hearing. Yet we are aware of existence of some things which we do not see.
Light: The wavelength of light human can see ranges from 400 to 700 nanometres. This is less than 1% of light in the electromagnetic spectrum. Yet we are aware of the existence of Infrared, Ultra violet, Gamma and X rays.
Sound: Frequency range of Auditory / human hearing is 20Hz – 20 000Hz.There are sounds that humans can’t hear such as a dog whistle which a dog can hear because it has a higher hearing range.
Prophets Nuh, Yahya, Muhammad SAWW and even people of great taqwa have seen the Jin including Shaytan.
A reason to treat Shaytan as enemy:
“ ..he (Shaytan) only invites to his allies so that they may be among the inmates of the flaming fire.” Sura al Fatir 35:6
What is the strategy of Shaytan?
“He (Shaytan) and his troops look at you from where you do not see them.” Sura al A’raaf 7:27
“Certainly Shaytan is always at the rear of man in everything.” Imam Ali a.s.
